CitySpring is the first infrastructure business trust registered with the Monetary Authority of Singapore in Singapore. As a pioneer in a new asset class in Singapore, and with sponsorship from Temasek, CitySpring aims to position itself as a leading player in a growing sector, by achieving significant growth through acquisitions. It has been established with the principal objective of investing in infrastructure assets and providing unitholders with long-term, regular and predictable distributions and the potential for long-term capital growth. CitySpring's initial portfolio will comprise 100 percent of the City Gas Trust, the sole producer and retailer of town gas and the sole user of the low-pressure piped town gas network in Singapore, and 70 percent of the SingSpring Trust, the sole supplier of desalinated water to the PUB, Singapore's national water agency. Following the completion of the acquisition of Senoko Waste-to-Energy (WTE) Plant, Keppel Seghers Tuas WTE Plant and Keppel Seghers NEWater Plant on 18 May 2015, it has changed its Company Name to "Keppel Infrastructure Trust" with effect from 19 May 2015. Accordingly, the Enlarged Trust is the largest Singapore infrastructure-focused business trust and the second largest business trust listed in Singapore in terms of total assets. The Enlarged Trust comprises: (a) The KIT Group, whose principal businesses are Senoko Waste-To-Energy ("WTE"), Keppel Seghers Tuas WTE and Keppel Seghers Ulu Pandan NEWater; (b) The CIT Group, whose principal businesses are City Gas, City-OG Gas, SingSpring, Basslink, Basslink Telecoms, CityNet and CityDC; and (c) Keppel Merlimau Cogen Plant (KMC). Change of Name: CitySpring Infrastructure Trust to Keppel Infrastructure Trust. Trading under the new name with effect from 19 May 2015.
