PEC Ltd is a specialist engineering group servicing the oil and gas, petrochemical, oil and chemical terminal, and pharmaceutical industries. Its two core business activities are:(1) Project worksThe scope of project works ranges from providing engineering, procurement and/or construction/ construction management ('EPC'/'EPCm') services in respect of a terminal or a section of a plant or terminal, project management consultancy, and to the construction of a certain part of a plant or terminal. The project works are currently being carried out mainly in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, China and the Middle East. (2) Maintenance servicesMaintenance services covers both plant maintenance works as well as related services works and range from maintenance carried out on plant equipment to single-source maintenance services for a production plant. The Group also provides EPCm services to plant upgrading and/or plant de-bottlenecking of an existing plant. Its maintenance services are currently being carried out in Singapore and China. The Group has established fabrication facilities in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and China. In addition to its two core business activities, the Group also carries out other ancillary business activities such as the provision of information technology services and products, heat treatment services, equipment leasing and engineering consultancy services through its Subsidiaries.
